SHORT HISTORY

Fabian was born in in 1614 as the 4th out of 7 children in Jönköping Sweden (area). He grew up as a farmer until he was old enough to go to war and there did he begin his interest in medicine over the sword. For his time, he was an excellent doctor who later took house calls when not on field. It was a call to a noble home where he met another man who would change his life forever. Count (Tobias) Strand - a man capable of that which no man should be.

Tobias taught him love, and art, and culture, but what Tobias taught him over that was a way of blood and it's penetrating power. You see, Tobias was a Sorcerer of powers far beyond the means of blood. The temptation for eternity was overwhelming and little by little did Fabian slide into the folds of dark witchcraft upon the wing of this noble man. He was in love. He was so deeply in love. So much so that his fascination of the body's powers overthrew his care for them.

Here he learned many things, dark things, things of great sacrifice and power. With royalty to hide their atrocities, the world was theirs. They lived rich, aristocratic, and exciting lives. They killed hundreds of people - often young - to further their strength; to retain youth, wealth, talent.. The more life they took the stronger their power became. Their people did not succumb to illness. Their army was strong. Their crops always fruitful. And Fabian and Tobias? Well, there were perks for them personally too. Sacrifices made, of course, but so was the way of everything was it not?

The relationship between a noble blood and a peasant was known, scorned, but never talked about out of fear of a larger rumour: Fabian was a witch. Tobias often disguised their relationship as servitude and it wasn't entirely untrue. More often than not it was at the hand of Fabian that people were punished or killed. With their relationship and his darkening reputation, Fabian soon grew two nicknames: The Man in the Red Dress, and The Count's Red Hand.

It wasn't long, however, that their people turned on them and one night the castle was set to flames. Many died that night including(?) Tobias, but Fabian survived to watch all that he loved disappear. He drew the most blood and blood stains forever. With nothing left, and no longer beneath the spell of his lover, Fabian came to see the very dark reality of his atrocities.

Since then, he has been healing and slowly started to age. However, very recently Tobias' return caused him to turn back to blood magic and is again youthful in appearance and slowly becoming more self-destructive than ever. He is currently under the manipulation of Tobias which leaves him to believe that Tobias was never involved at all in magic but it was all at the fault of Fabian instead.
