- Where am I?
- Did they use protection?

Fabian is a witch. In Fabian's world there are three types of magic users:
A witch
draws power from nature, the living, and the dying. Common, but often not powerful. These tend to be the healers and psychics. They practice witchcraft, they have rituals and mystical items. Classical witch category right here. Those who have truly mastered the Craft can be almost as dangerous if not more dangerous than sorcerer as their power is in nature's cycle and not the self. The self is limited. Nature is circular and limitless. It is rare, though, to find someone who is so skilled in the Craft.
A wizard
draws power from elements and concepts. Much less common. Usually only one element / concept. You may have a wizard who has an enchanted voice therefor their strength lay in incantation spells. You may have a wizard who holds power over electricity. You may have one who holds power over earth. While they seem like they could be powerful, most are average. It is rare that a wizard has so much power they can burn a forest down just by thinking about it. Although it's happened.
A sorcerer
draws power from inward. A mastered sorcerer could quite literally destroy the world if turned toward darkness. Their abilities range from telekinesis and mind control to illusions. They can manipulate space, time, life. They can raise dead, they can turn water in to wine. Very rare. Very powerful.
